HIGH SCHOOL

Welcome to High School!

Valley Christian School is now offering a full high school academic program, with strong Math/Science courses to complement the Humanities and Applied Skills courses offered. This means that whether preparing for post-secondary education in science, education, business or arts, we now have the courses to equip students for their future.

Woven into the fabric of a VCS education is a strong Biblical world view, taught and modelled by committed Christian teachers and staff. We are a funded, fully-accredited Group 1 Independent School, able to satisfy the Dogwood diploma requisites. We receive regular inspections by the Ministry of Education external evaluation teams and have always satisfied the inspection requirements.

Our high school students obtain a good deal of their learning outside of the classroom: on a SALTS sailing trip, weight lifting/training and PE activities, a fall retreat and campout, a missions trip, performances at the Clarke Theatre, and various activities and athletics competitions.

We offer some linear courses as well as semester courses.  The principal can meet with VCS parents and their teenager to work through the course selections from our High School Planning Guide.

What They're Saying

The best spiritual and academic prep I could have ever asked for prior to entering the world of post-secondary education. Thank you and keep up the great work VCS.”

- Tim Keis, former student

“We thought we would stay at Valley for one year but after experiencing the love and care from the teachers we knew there was no better place.   We appreciate not only the academics, but the commitment to biblical truth and to come alongside us as parents, reinforcing values that we are teaching our girls at home.”

-Lorelei, mother of three students
