At Valley Christian School, our desire is to provide the best learning environment possible so that our students develop into strong, Christ-centered students, hearing the same faith message from the home, the church, and the school.

"Train up a child in the way he should go and
even when he is old, he will not depart from it."
―Proverbs 22:6

Our Philosophy

Valley Christian School has provided solid Christian education to students in the classroom setting since 1983, and then as well to families across British Columbia who wanted Christian education in a home school setting. In September 2011, Valley Christian School also began to offer a Distributed Learning program that is Christ-centred and technology based so that parents can rest secure knowing that their children will meet or exceed BC Ministry Learning Outcomes with the flexibility that they are accustomed to.
In our VCS DL program, as with the Main Campus and Home School programs, we believe that a Christian school should educate and train the student to know and lovingly respond to God, deal creatively with life's challenges, and learn to love and serve others for now and in preparation for eternity.
Consistent with the view of the home as the first and most important force in the education of children, parents who want their home program to reflect their Christian values and their church's fundamental matters of faith and practice will find the VCS DL program a very good fit.

Our Vision

Equipping students with a Christ-like character while nurturing their academic success.

"We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." ―Colossians 1:28
